Fire Breaks Out in Kalshi Slum, Mirpur

A fire incident has occurred in the Kalshi slum of Mirpur, the capital. The fire service reported that the blaze erupted around 7:23 PM on Monday (May 25).

Duty Officer Rozina Khanam of the Fire Service control room confirmed the incident. She stated that initially two units began operations to bring the fire under control, with three additional units later dispatched to the scene.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known.
