Either a Meaningful Deal with Iran, or No Deal at All: Trump

US President Donald Trump has once again firmly reiterated the United States’ position on Iran’s nuclear program and regional policy. In a post on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’, he stated that any deal with Tehran must be “extremely meaningful” and favorable to US interests; otherwise, there will be no deal.

In his post, Trump further added that if there is a deal with Iran, it will be a “big and meaningful deal”—and if not, no deal is possible. International analysts view his comments as a continuation of Washington’s policy of pressuring Tehran.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also delivered a stern message in a similar tone. He said that the US would either conclude a strong and lasting agreement with Iran or address the situation through different means.

Following Washington’s tough stance, it now remains to be seen how Iran will react.
