In an interview with the Argentine media outlet ‘Olé’, Messi stated, “No, there is no possibility of playing a seventh World Cup. I can say that with certainty.”

I have kept myself physically prepared so that I can provide maximum help to the team in the World Cup. The 2030 World Cup will be a special edition in football history, as for the first time, six countries will be involved in its organization to celebrate the centenary of the World Cup. Spain, Portugal, and Morocco will be the main host countries. Additionally, opening matches will be held in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to mark the centenary.
However, Messi is not thinking too much about the future. He has already achieved almost all major accolades at club, national team, and individual levels. Therefore, he now views every moment as an added bonus.
