Prime Minister: New Generation Must Lead to Build a Prosperous Nation

Prime Minister Tareq Rahman has stated that the new generation must lead in the country’s development and future building. He expressed hope that the current generation will achieve success both within the country and in the international arena.

He made these remarks as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of ‘Notun Kuri Sports 2025-26’, held with the theme ‘Sports for Profession, Family Gets Assurance’, at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in the capital on Monday (July 27) afternoon.

The Prime Minister emphasized that despite various challenges in Bangladesh, there is no room to stop. He stated that if the current generation is properly nurtured, it is possible to build a prosperous and beautiful Bangladesh in the future.

Tareq Rahman said that equal importance must be given to education alongside sports. He also assured that the government would provide the necessary support to the new generation in whatever profession they wish to pursue.

He further added that to build a developed Bangladesh, the youth must not only enhance their skills but also be responsible towards nature and play a leading role in conserving the nation’s resources.

The Prime Minister urged the new generation to prepare themselves with patriotism, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
