Argentina into Semi-Finals After Magnificent Extra-Time Battle

In a thrilling extra-time battle during the World Cup quarter-finals, defending champions Argentina have secured a spot in the semi-finals by defeating Switzerland 3-1.

After the stipulated 90 minutes ended in a 1-1 draw, the match went into extra time. Subsequently, Lionel Messi’s team showcased their experience and attacking prowess, scoring two more goals to secure the victory.

With this win, Argentina has secured yet another consecutive World Cup semi-final spot. In the last-four clash, their opponent will be England, who reached the semi-finals by defeating Norway in their quarter-final.
