Earthquake Jolts Capital and Various Regions

An earthquake was felt in various areas of the country, including the capital Dhaka, on Monday (June 22) around 9:30 PM. Buildings shook for several seconds, causing many people to panic and quickly rush out of their homes, offices, and other establishments.

Eyewitnesses reported that the earthquake tremor lasted for several seconds. Many have also indicated on social media that the tremors were felt in several other districts across the country, beyond just the capital’s various areas.

However, there are no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage. Relevant authorities have also not yet confirmed any information regarding potential damage.
